While more record highs are not expected for Havre in the near future, plenty of summer-like weather remains in the forecast for the next week.
Sunday's high of 96 was hottest in the state and tied a Havre record set in 1890.
Forecasts call for plenty of sunshine and temperatures hitting highs of 70s and 80s through the weekend and into next week, with no precipitation other than some chances of scattered thunderstorms in the predictions.
