BB gun vandal to be sentenced Thursday in District Court

James W. White, born in 1995, has admitted to vandalizing business properties to the tune of more than $10,000 in Havre and Rudyard with a BB gun. He is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday at 1 p.m. in state District Court.

Charging documents say the incidents, in which a collection of windows in the two towns were shot out, happened between October 2014 and January 2015.

Court documents suggest White was in collusion with a juvenile, who had hidden BBs and a CO2 cartridge in his vehicle when deputies found the evidence. Two BB guns were later brought to the Hill County Sheriff’s office by the...
