Despite a lot of rain, thunderstorms and now, golf courses that are soaked with water, last week was a very busy one for golfers of all ages.
It was an especially busy week for the Chinook golf teams, which competed in last week’s Class C state tournament at the Hamilton Country Club. For the second straight year, the Chinook boys brought home a trophy from the state tourney, as the Sugarbeeters shot a 550 over 36 holes to finish third. Harlowton won the state title, while Seeley-Swan was second.
Individually, Chinook’s Ian McIntosh was 9th, earning Class A All-State honors with a total of 176...
