Obituary - William "Bill" D. Seaberg

William "Bill" D. Seaberg, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016, doing what he loved to do, FISH.

Viewing will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today, Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Tanner Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Bill was born Aug. 11, 1945, in Wenatchee, Washington, to Frank and Katherine (Reynolds) Seaberg. He was the youngest of four children, and the only son. He was raised and educated in Wenatchee, and moved to Havre in 1958. Bill enlisted in the Air National Guard with MANG in 1965, and was honorably discharged in 1985. During this time, he attended Northern Montana College and worked for the railroad during the summer.

He married Sandra Larson Dec. 7, 1970, in Havre at the First Lutheran Church. They had two sons, Troy and Randy.

Bill began working full-time for the railroad and made it his career for the next 38 years, retiring in 2006. After his retirement, he did what he wanted to do, like fishing, hunting, reloading and participating in competition shoots. He was an avid outdoorsman, and could pack a camper like no one has ever seen. He built his garage, which is known as the Garage MaHall. A year ago, Bill was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was proud to say he was a survivor of that.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy in 2004; and one sister, Penny Jones.
