VA representatives in area

Steve Mulonet or Judy Loendorf, service officers for Montana Veteran Affairs Division, will be available to speak to veterans at the following places and times.

Rocky BoyRocky Boy Vet Center, Friday, Feb. 3, 10 a.m. to noon

• Malta — Malta City Hall,Thursday, Feb. 16, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

• Fort Belknap — IHS Conference Room, Thursday, Feb. 16, 1:30 to 3 p.m.

People who would like to apply for benefits with the VA can meet with a service officer at one of the scheduled times. Bring a copy of discharge/separation papers.

If bad weather exists on days of travel, people can check with the newspaper and radio stations for updated information regarding the outreach schedule.

Pool closed over Presidents Day weekend

The Havre Community Pool will be closed Saturday, Feb. 18, Sunday, Feb. 19, and Monday, Feb. 20, in honor of Presidents Day. For more information, call 265-5781.

Cheer camp set for Saturday

The Li’l’ Pony Cheer Camp for boys and girls grades kindergarten through fifth grade is taking place Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at Havre High School

Registration forms are available at all local schools, or people may register that morning.

Camp participants will perform during halftime of the girls basketball game at 5 p.m. that day, Saturday, Feb. 4.
