Work to begin next week on U.S. Highway 2

People are being asked to be careful west of Havre as work begins on a project on U.S. Highway 2 from its juncture with U.S. Highway 87 east.

Century Companies Inc. will start work, expected to begin Tuesday, May 30, weather permitting, the company said in a press release. Curb and Sidewalk replacement will begin on the south side of Highway 2 at the Kmart entrance and progress east staying on the south side of the highway. Sidewalks will be closed to pedestrian traffic during construction activities. Please avoid walking through the work zone and use an alternate route....
