The Havre Jaycees Demolition Derby has always been a great way to close out the Great Northern Fair and moving back to its traditional Sunday evening time slot this year, the demolition derby closed out the fair in style.
After some preliminary heats inside the arena at the Great Northern Fairgrounds Sunday night, eight drivers advanced to the final showdown and when the dust settled, it was Johnny Austin, who emerged victorious. Austin edged out Garrett Powell and Skylar Powell, who finished second and third respectively.
