    CHINOOK - For the second time in five seasons, the Chinook Sugarbeeters have a chance to win a Class C 8-man state championship. On a frigid and froze Saturday afternoon at Hoon Field, the Beeters crushed No. 2-ranked Fairview 66-12. The win pushed Chinook through to the state championship game next Saturday in Wibaux.   • 83-year-old woman dies in Harlem fire

    HARLEM (AP) — An 83-year-old Harlem woman died of smoke inhalation in a fire that destroyed her house. Blaine County Undersheriff Frank Billmayer said Dorothy Belden died in the fire, which was reported at 7:35 a.m. Thursday. Her husband, 87-year-old Harry B+elden, was able to escape. Firefighters said the house was fully involved when they arrived. The sheriff's office says it was an electrical fire and no foul play is suspected.... Full story
