To the editor, After I read your newspaper report of the Hill County Park Board (discussing grazing on Beaver Creek Park), I find I must agree with Nick Siebrasse about it appearing to be a conflict of interest. Perhaps in the future, those board members directly benefitting on any vote, whether it’s a cabin owner, a grazer, a hay producer or a park permit user, should recuse themselves from the vote to avoid any appearance of wrongdoing.
