MARGARET FLASKERUD, Obituary

Margaret Agnes Flaskerud, 89, Havre, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at a Havre care center of natural causes.

Margaret was born in Kalispell to Peter and Minnie DeGroot on July 30, 1912. She attended grade school in Olney and graduated from Flathead County High School.

Margaret married Gilbert Flaskerud on Feb. 10, 1932. They farmed and ranched in the Hogeland area until they moved to Havre in 1951.

Margaret was active in the Hogeland Lutheran Church, served as clerk of the Hogeland School District, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a 4-H leader. In Havre she belonged to th...
