KENT HUDSON, Obituary

Kent Hudson, 70, Dickinson, N.D., died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at the home of his daughter in Rapid City, S.D., surrounded by family.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Osheim-Catron Funeral Home in Rapid City. Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. H.B. Cleveland officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City.

A memorial service will be held in Dickinson, N.D., at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Ladbury Funeral Home.

Kent was born in Havre on April 9, 1932. He attended school in Havre.

Kent married his high school sweetheart, Alice Medchill, in 1951. He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by many.

After he served in the Navy, he attended and graduated from college. His love of nature was demonstrated by his work as a geologist. He was an avid fly fisherman, golfer and bowler.

Kent was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice, and an infant daughter.

Survivors include his sons, Doug Hudson of Casper, Wyo., David Hudson, Lakewood, Colo., and Keith Hudson of Fargo, N.D.; daughters, Kathy Klausen of Rapid City, S.D. and Ann Reilley of Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a memorial at Storybook Island. Contributions can be made to Kathy Klausen, 4717 Baldwin St., Rapid City, S.D. 57702.
