VIRGINIA KEELEY obituary

Virginia (Ginnie) Elizabeth (Fisher) Keeley, 77, of Havre died Monday, June 16, 2003, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.

Memorial graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Highland Cemetery.

Virginia was born June 1, 1926, in Hauge, N.D. to Julia and John Fisher. Her

mother died when she was very young and she was raised by her stepmother, Eva Fisher. Virginia attended school in Hingham and graduated from Hingham High School. She then went to work for F.A. Buttrey in Havre.

She married Mark A. Keeley June 11, 1947, in Havre, where the couple made their home.

Virginia became a resident at the Northern Montana Care Center in 2001. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, latch hook, listening to her favorite music, and visiting with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing, gardening and cooking.

She was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Havre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Fisher in 1928 and John Fisher in 1954, and her husband, Mark Keeley in 1982.

Survivors include her children, Carol (Ron) Beeler of Great Falls, David (Bonnie) Keeley of Havre, Mark (Sharon) Keeley of Gildford, John (Terri) Keeley of Havre, Tom (Kathy) Keeley of Sammamish, Wash., Bill (Ellie) Keeley of Havre, Rick (Michelle) Keeley of Portland, Ore., Terry (Gwen) Keeley of Havre; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; sister, Perry (Richard) Sherrill of Kalispell; and dedicated friend Mindy Bricker of Helena.

Memorials in Virginia's Honor may be made to the National Diabetes Foundation P.O. Box 2411 Great Falls, MT 59403.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
