ARMAND TREMBLAY obituary

MALTA - Armand A. Tremblay, 88, a retired farmer and rancher, died Friday, May 19, 2006, at the Hi-Line Retirement Center of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Adams Memorial Chapel with interment in the Malta Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.

Armand was born Oct. 15, 1917 in Regina, Mont., to Joseph and Evelyn (Scott) Tremblay. He was raised and educated in the Regina community in southern Phillips County. He worked for the mines in Zortman and then farmed and ranched.

He married Josephine Olson on Nov. 4, 1950, in Malta. They moved to Malta in 1970. He also worked at the Ford Garage and did some trucking for awhile. After retirement, he began a lawn-care business. Armand enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Armand was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine, on Sept. 16, 1998; two brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include his children, Arthur Olson and Patricia Davis of Malta, Rosalie Perrine and Annette Powell of Chinook; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Adams Funeral Home and Crematory of Malta are in charge of arrangements.
