PATRICIA A. (MAYER) SMITH obituary

Patricia A. Mayer Smith, 74, died Dec. 17, 2006 at Charleston, South Carolina of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place and her memorial service will be held at 11 a . M . Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Holland and B o n i n e F u n e r a l Chapel with C h a d Lehtermon officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the Highland Cemetery with Full military Honors. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the VFW immediately after the graveside services. Patricia was born on March 17, 1932 in Havre, the daughter of Mark and Josephine Emily Mayer. She attended school and graduated from High School. She entered into the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1952. She married Johnny B. Smith and the couple had four children and later divorced. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a degree in business. Patricia was active in the Jaycees, Elks, Junior League and Business and Professional Women. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Jean (Mo) Mohylan of Savannah, Geogia, Georgia (James) Parker of Monks Corner, S.C., Gail Smith of Charleston, S.C.; son, Brad (Sally) Smith of Gainsville, Georgia; twin brothers, Patrick (Jackie) Mayer, David (Kay) Mayer, Mark (Darlene) Mayer; two sisters, Elizabeth Strissel and Dee Dee Stubban all of Havre, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
