Vern D. Burchard, 75, went to meet his Savior Monday evening at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, with burial following in the Highland Cemetery with military honors. Fellowship and reception will follow interment at the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Center. Vern was born at Fort Belknap Agency to Charles and Anna Mae (DuBois) Burchard.
