Kenneth George Haas

Kenneth George "Robin" Haas, 55, died Saturday evening, July 10, 2010, at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Cremation will take place, and his memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2010, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Brad Ulgenes officiating.

A reception will be held at the Tip-It Bar in honor of Robin immediately after the memorial service. Memorials in Kenneth's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Robin was born Oct. 9, 1954, in Havre, Mont., to Tommy and Clara (Champagne) Haas. He was raised and educated in Havre, graduating in 1973. He enlisted into the United States Army in 1976 and was honorably discharged in 1980. Robin returned to Havre and worked for Baltrusch Construction, Havre Block Plant, and his last position was with Garbage Inc. He enjoyed working as a truck driver.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting and was a salvage expert. He was always looking for that diamond in the rough that others had discarded.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Beverly Haas; and one brother, Ronnie Haas.

Robin is survived by his two step-daughters, Stacey Moore of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sherril Dockter of Havre, Mont.; two step-sons, Lee Kohlman of Missoula, Mont., and Eric Dockter of Denver, Colo; two sisters, Daryle Leah (Steve) Bradley of Denver, Colo., and Judy (Ron) Osborne of Cut Bank, Mont.; brothers, DeWayne (Bonnie) Haas, Timothy (Wanda) Haas and Randall (Mardi) Haas, all of Havre, Mont., and Rodney (Candy) Haas of Yakima, Wash; and numerous nieces and nephews.
