Havre area businesses will need permits soon

All businesses with a 59501 zip code will be required to register with the city for a business license, Planning and Development Committee members agreed Tuesday, ideally making the future growth of Havre orderly.

Also, businesses located outside that zip code that do business in city limits will be required to register for a business permit.

The city attorney will draft the license/permit that will then go before full City Council for approval. Once approved, business owners will be given 60 days to register.
