Next weekend folks can get their hands on history

Local children — and history enthusiasts — have a chance to get a grip on the past Saturday, April 24, when the sixth annual Hands on History is held at the Holiday Village Mall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. "This fun and educational event provides a day filled with events and demonstrations designed to let children see how things were done in the past," Anna Brumley, who helps coordinate the event, said in a press release.
