City Council holds off pet ordinance

Havre City Council met Monday night to vote on five property tax extensions and the pet ordinance that the Ordinance Committee has been working on this summer.
The property taxes are to be used on such civil maintenance as street repair and solid waste management. They were voted on and approved quickly.
Then Ordinance 870, the pet ordinance, was introduced.
