Mariani continues to produce

With the Tennessee Titans struggling to their fourth straight loss Sunday afternoon in Houston, former Havre High star Marc Mariani kept on producing.

Mariani added to his NFL leading punt return totals and had another outstanding day returning kickoffs, despite the Titans falling to the Houston Texans 20-0.

Mariani returned four kickoffs for 93 yards, including two that went for 30 yards each. He also returned two punts for 25 yards for an average of 12.5 yards, which put him near his season total for the year.

His day against the Texans will keep Mariani among the NFL leaders in both punt returns, kickoff returns and total return yardage. Mariani entered Sunday's' game second in the NFL in both punt returns and total return yards, and seventh in the league in kickoff returns for the season.

Despite his efforts, the Titans fell to 5-6 on the season, but aren't out of the playoff picture in the AFC as they have four games against AFC South opponents remaining.

Mariani and the Titans will host the Jacksonville Jaguars at 11 a.m. M.S.T. this Sunday at LP Field in Nashville.
