Delores Maetche

On Nov. 26, 2010, Delores Maetche passed away peacefully at her home with her children around her.

Delores Eileen Hobbs was born in Chinook Mont., on July 27, 1931, to Alfred D. and Ida O. Hobbs.

She was raised in Chinook and graduated from high school in 1949. Much of her young life was spent with her father delivering freight, helping on the farm and learning whatever else he wanted to teach her. She had many fond childhood memories of playing with her sister Dayle and nieces Javae and Janice Strain. On Dec. 31, 1951, she married Marvin A. Maetche at the American Lutheran Church in Chinook....
