Local bowlers compete at nationals

As of March 29, Bill Henry Construction is in fourth place at U.S.B.C. Championship Tournament in Reno with a score of 2.718 in the classified division. Minnow's Marine is in 42nd place. We will keep you informed.

The PBA is in a playoff something like NCAA basketball with the first of three regions and bowlers bowling last Sunday with Steve Jaros, Randy Weiss, Tommy Jones, advancing to the next level. This Sunday will see nine more bowlers competing with the top 3 in each division moving on.

TIP OF THE WEEK: If you are going to the state tournament it is time to check your equipment, to make sure all inserts are in properly, you might have to replace them. It is also a good time to have your ball resurfaced or cleaned. Remember a clean ball rolls more consistently.
