Breaking Sports: Pony matmen start strong at Havre Invite

It was another great showing at the annual Havre High Invite, as 14 talented teams faced off on the mats at the Havre High gymnasium.

And for the second consecutive year, the Central A Blue Ponies earned a top spot in the team standings. Class AA Great Falls High earned the No. 1 finish with 295.5 points, while the Ponies followed with a second place finish at 231 points. Class AA CMR also put up a top three fight as the Rustlers finished in third with 163 overall points.

HHS put 10 grapplers into the championships, while four individuals finished No. 1, and six finished No. 1. Champions included Grayson Brenna (105), Dylan Stewart (119), Grant Pattison (189) and Tyler Adams (215).
