Chinook's Stroh honored

The accolades just keep coming in for Chinook High School senior Benjamin Stroh.

Stroh recently was named the 2012 Dave Schultz excellence award for 2012. The award is given to the top high school wrestler in each state by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Museum.

Stroh will graduate this spring as a four-time Class B-C state champion. He became the 19th Montanan to achieve the feat this past February in Billings when he beat teammate Rob Klingaman for the 189-pound B-C state championship.

Stroh also holds the national record for consecutive pins with 101. He didn't lose a single match in his last three years of high school wrestling.

Stroh, who is also a two-time Class C All-State football honoree and who will play in this summer's Montana East-West Shrine Game, is headed to the University of Wyoming to continue his wrestling career.
