It was a rough season-opening road for the Havre High boys and girls basketball teams. On Friday night, the Blue Pony girls dropped a tough, 47-44 decision to the Malta M-Ettes in Malta, while the Pony boys were beaten by the defending Class B champion Mustangs 67-31.
The Havre boys (0-1) are at home Saturday night to host CMR at 5 p.m., while the girls visit the Rustlers in Great Falls.
