Friday's Prep Basketball: Havre girls nip Browning; Pony boys fall at home

The Havre High girls basketball team won in dramatic fashion on the road Friday night. The Ponies improved to 4-0 in the Central A Conference with a 55-53 win over the Browning Indians. The Ponies are at home Saturday to host the Conrad Cowgirls.

Friday night wasn't as good for the HHS boys. Browning crushed the Blue Ponies 64-36 at the HHS gymnasium. In the loss, the Ponies got 12 points from junior Thurman Holdsclaw. The Ponies will look to rebound when they travel to Conrad on Saturday night.
