John Robert Thole

John Robert Thole, 45, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, due to accidental drowning caused by a seizure in Moyie Springs, Idaho.

Viewing will be from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home, Friday, March 16, 2012. His funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, with Tim Maroney officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

John was born on Oct. 26, 1966, to Robert and Shirley (Kraft) Thole. He grew up in Havre, attending Lincoln-McKinley grade school and graduating from Havre High School. He attended college in Bozeman. John married Yolanda Entriken in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. They have been married for 20 years and have three children, Jeb, Sara and Alicia.

John worked as a landscaper, sometimes self-employed and sometimes working for another landscaping company. John loved to fish and walk his dogs, Darnell and Blue, and spend time with his kids. He was an avid reader, loved animals and was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan since fourth grade. He was a very sensitive and loving man and had many friends.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and Leo Kraft and Dorothy and Herman Thole; and his sister, Ann Smith.

He is survived by his parents, mother, Shirley (Wes) Gorman of Havre; and father, Robert Thole of Lethbridge, Canada; his wife Yolanda Thole of Moyie Springs, Idaho; daughters, Sara and Alicia of Moyie Springs, Idaho; son Jeb of Sidney, Mont. ; sister, Arlyce (Phil) Wing of Bellevue, Wash. ; and brothers, Michael (Diane) Thole of Fort Benton, Mont. and Doug (Jodi) Thole of Big Fork, Mont.
