Ice Hawks open with Great Falls this weekend

The Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team will get on the ice for the first time in 2012.

The Ice Hawks have two home games this weekend against the Great Falls Americans, one of their biggest rivals. Havre will take on Great Falls at 8:15 p.m. Friday night and at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The Ice Hawks are under the direction of new head coach Scott Gunderson and are hoping to improve as the season goes along.

Havre's games against Great Falls Friday and Saturday will both take place at the Havre Ice Dome. For a full preview of the Ice Hawks, see next week's Havre Daily news.
