Authorities say abducted boy in danger

MISSOULA (AP) — Authorities are searching for a 3-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by his biological father and thought to be in danger.

An Amber Alert has been issued for the child abducted in Elk Valley, British Columbia, and possibly taken to Montana.

The Missoulian reports Alvin Barnett was last seen Thursday.

He is described as 3-foot-9, weighing 33 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, and wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

Alvin Barnett is believed to be in imminent danger.

His father Robert Barnett's blue 2002 Subaru Outback, with British Columbia license plates, was seen crossing the border at Eureka at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
