A special celebration is set tonight for the renewal of history at Beaver Creek Park, with the grand opening and open house at the chapel at Camp Kiwanis in the park starting at 5:30 p. m.

The Hill County Park Board and the Havre-Hill County Historic Preservation Commission are sponsoring the event, which includes a barbecue and is open to the public.

The park, the oldest building at Camp Kiwanis, was listed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 2010.
