The picture in Wednesday's Havre Daily News of Thurman Holdsclaw and Katie Christianson enjoying their moment of glory at homecoming coronation prompted me to write this letter.
The smiles on the faces of these two make me think about so many of our students who are good kids, full of energy, enthusiasm and promise.
One often hears adults talk about "kids today" and wonder what has happened to our youth.
But from my perspective, the vast majority of our kids are good kids, doing what they believe is right, just trying to find their way, whether they are homecoming royalty or stu...
