MSU-N broke open a close first-half game late on two Shaun Tatarka three's to lead 31-21 at the half. From there, Northern was one fire. The Lights shot 69 percent from three in the second half, made five three's on five straight trips down the floor and ripped off 16 unanswered points at one stretch to run away from the Bears. Northern got a game-high 19 points and five triples from LaVon Myers, while Tatarka added 15 points and Devin Jackson scored nine.

MSU-N improved to 18-3 overall and will host Lewis-Clark State this Friday and Westminster College on Saturday.
