Beeters finish second at B-C state tennis

It was just two short years ago that the Chinook girls tennis team captured its first state championship in tennis. This past week in Missoula, the Sugarbeeters nearly pulled it off again.

Chinook finished second by one point at last week's Class B-C state tennis tournament in Missoula. The Beeters scored 27 points, one behind state champion Conrad. Fairfield was a close third with 26 points.

Three players earned big points for the Beeters.

Singles player Katie Diemert, who captured the Northern B-C crown two weeks ago in Havre, made it all the way to the state championship match last Thursday...
