Breaking Sports: Pony girls upset Malta

The Havre High girls were looking to break a three-game losing streak when they welcomed in the Malta M-Ettes for a Tuesday night girls game in Havre. And despite trailing for much of the night, the Ponies exploded offensively in the final minutes for a 51-42 win. The loss was Malta's first of the season, while HHS improved to 8-6 overall. Chanel Standing Rock led Havre High with 16 points. The Ponies return to action with games Friday at Lewistown and Saturday at home against Shelby.
