Deanna P. Boe, 69, of Hays passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her residence of natural causes.

Wake services will begin at 5 p.m on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Kills at Night Center in Hays. Rosary services will be at 7 p.m on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Kills at Night Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Paul Mission Church with Father Joseph Retzel officiating, and burial will be in the Myrick Family Cemetery.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Deanna was born on June 26, 1943, in Hays to Paul and Bertha (Gone) Myrick. She was raised in Hays for several years, but graduated from Del Mar High School in San José, Calif. She married Grant Boe in 1963, and their union was blessed with four children, whom they raised at Three Buttes. Deanna and Grant later divorced. She subsequently married Donald Snell, and they were blessed with Donald "Donnie" Snell Jr.

Deanna's other loves were Elmer Walker, Richard Turner and David Snell, all of whom have since passed away.

Deanna graduated with her associate degree from Billings Business College. She was a workaholic who held the position of director of Fort Belknap Housing Authority, and she worked in many other departments in the Indian Health Service over the years. Deanna worked in many cities and reservations in the northwestern United States. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Deanna will be met in heaven by her father, Paul Myrick; her stepfather, James B. Snow; her son, Grant Boe Jr.; her brothers, William Myrick Sr., Jimmy Snow, Kermit Snow and Gilbert Snow; and her sisters, Judy Myrick Gray, Nona Pitkanen, Elinor Sullivan and Winona Gives.

She is survived by her mother, Bertha Snow of Hays; her daughters, Sandra Boe, Yvette Boe and Amelia Aguirre, all of Harlem; her sons, Paul Boe of Hays and Donald Snell of Missoula; her 20 grandchildren; her 33 great-grandchildren; her only great-great-grandchild; her sister, Melvina Snow of Hays; her brother, Ozzie Snow of Hays; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
