Velma L. Tyrrel, 82, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Northern Montana Care Center due to natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Velma was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Mobridge, S.D., to Lloyd and Hazel Hawkins. As a young girl the family moved to Harlowtown, Mont. She attended school there and graduated from Harlowtown High School.

In 1949 she married Everett Tyrrel. Velma worked for the Wheatland Grocery. The Tyrrels moved to Anaconda, Mont., where they resided from 1953 to 1959....
