Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash reported on 5th Street Friday at 2:13 p.m.

Officers investigated a complaint made at the police station Friday at 3:45 p.m. of sugar being added to the gas tank of a vehicle.

After receiving a report from Blaine County Friday at 3:48 p.m. of suspicious activity, officers arrested a 40-year-old Harlem woman for criminal contempt and a Justice or City court warrant.

A 3rd Avenue caller reported suspicious activity at 5:35 p.m. Friday and responding officers arrested a 26-year-old Box Elder man for criminal trespass to property.

Officers responding to a report of suspicious activity on 1st Street at 9:31 p.m. Friday arrested a 41-year-old Box Elder man for criminal trespass to property.

Friday at 11:54 p.m. officers responded to a report of assault on 2nd Street arrested a 32-year-old Havre man for violation of conditions of release, criminal destruction or tampering with a communication device, partner or family member assault, criminal contempt and assault.

During a motor vehicle stop on 3rd Street at 11:58 p.m. Friday, officers arrested a 31-year-old Havre woman for aggravated driving under the influence and careless driving.

Officers investigated a report from a 1st Street business of a beer theft at 1:57 a.m. Saturday.

After a 13th Street caller reported a window being broken out by two men at 2:13 a.m. Saturday, responding officers made two arrests, but no further details were provided.

A caller at a 1st Street West business reported a drunk driver at 2:38 a.m. Saturday, and officers arrested a 64-year-old Havre man for aggravated DUI, driving without insurance, first offense, and driving with expired registration.

Saturday morning at 6:21 a caller reported a vehicle parked at the entrance to a 5th Avenue complex, and responding officers issued a summons to a 20-year-old Havre man for minor in possession.

Officers, investigating a report made at 2:44 p.m. Saturday of a beer theft from a 1st Street West business made two arrests, but no further details were provided.

After a caller at a 1st Street business reported a combative shoplifter at 3:59 p.m., responding officers arrested a 26-year-old Spokane, Wash., man on charges of robbery, theft by shoplifting, assault and possession of dangerous drugs.

A caller reported a woman jumping in front of traffic near Saddle Butte Drive at 12:33 a.m. Monday and a responding officer pulled over a suspicious vehicle on 13th Street at 12:46 a.m. and issued the 58-year-old Havre woman a summons for aggravated DUI and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license.

Officers called to a domestic disturbance on 13th Street at 2:19 a.m. Monday arrested a 33-year-old Havre man for partner or family member assault and violation of conditions of release.

After a caller at a 1st Street business reported stolen beer Monday at 4:06 a.m., responding officers arrested a 19-year-old Box Elder man for disorderly conduct, MIP, shoplifting, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and a Justice or City court warrant.

Called to a domestic disturbance on boulevard Avenue at 12:01 a.m. today, officers arrested a 28-year-old Havre man for partner or family member assault.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated an incident at East End Colony after a caller at 10:27 p.m. Friday requested assistance.

Deputies investigated a report made at 11:51 a.m. Saturday that someone had broken into a vehicle stored behind a man’s residence and taken items from the vehicle.

———

A deputy at 9:48 p.m. Saturday arrested a 49-year old Havre woman on a charge of disorderly conduct after a Beaver Creek Park employee reported at 3 p.m. that day someone littering and cutting fresh vegetation at a campground at the park.

———

A deputy investigated a report at 2:11 p.m. Sunday that someone had broken into a building at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.

A deputy serving warrants on the 1100 Block of 11th Street North arrested a 39-year-old Havre man on a state District Court warrant and a Justice/City Court warrant.

After a caller from the 1100 Block of 26th Avenue West at 5:03 p.m. Sunday reported finding drugs, a deputy arrested a 22-year-old Havre man on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs.

After an employee of a business on U.S. Highway 2 West at 10:46 a.m. Monday reported a customer pushing a cart with unpaid merchandise out of the store, loading them in a vehicle and driving away, deputies issued a summons to an 18-year-old Havre man on a charge of minor in possession and made two arrests. Details about the arrests were not available in today’s sheriff’s office log.

A deputy investigated a report made at 5:29 p.m. Monday that items had been stolen from a location in Beaver Creek Park.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to 12 medical calls over the holiday weekend and a fire crew investigated a report of a gas smell at the 300 Block of 6th Avenue, but neither fire department nor NorthWestern Energy crews detected a gas aroma.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a female black and white pit bull, a male brown and white pit bull, a male black and tan cat and a male orange and white cat.

A boy was born May 26, 2013, to Shanise Gamble and Mathew Lopez of Box Elder.
