Havre Daily News/Jake Shane Ty Golie rapidly pedals as he plays cars on an Xbox game controlled through an exercise bike at the Boys & Girls Club. When the person stops pedaling, the controller stops working. The Boys & Girls Club is in the second year of a three-year grant in which they receive $125,000 a year to promote education and health in children. In addition to these game-bikes, they also purchased treadmills and weightlifting equipment for the middle school.
