A caller from 3rd Avenue at 7:46 a.m. Thursday reported a hit-and-run crash.

An officer responding to a caller at 8:23 p.m. Thursday from 11th Street West reporting a disturbance arrested Ian Blaine McCarty, 35, of Havre on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop this morning at 2:09 a.m. on 2nd Avenue arrested Laura J. Wheeler, 30, of Havre on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicants, careless driving and failure to carry or produce proof of insurance.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy responded to a call at 5:24 p.m Thursday from a U.S. Highway 2 West business in which the caller reported a red pickup truck doing brodies in the parking lot, but was unable to locate the vehicle.

Havre Fire Department

Havre emergency medical technicians responded to calls at 10:37 a.m., 1:10 p.m., 6:56 p.m. and 8:39 p.m. Thursday.

Fire fighters responded to a fuelld leak at 10:37 a.m. Thursday on the 2100 Block of 1st Street.

Fire fighters responded to a report of a gas smell at 2:39 p.m. from the 1700 Block of 2nd Street.

Firefighters responded to a call at 2:35 a.m. today from the 200 Block of Montana Avenue that was caused by an alarm malfunction.
