Huston gets public defender

Shad Huston, whose attorney was recently removed due to a judge's ruling he had a conflict of interest after representing someone who was to testify at Huston's trial, now has a federal defender to represent him.

Michael Sherwood, Huston's former attorney, also represented John "Chance" Houle, who has pleaded guilty to embezzling from the tribe as well.

June 9, a hearing was conducted for the court to appoint counsel for Huston.

"Huston has shown by a preponderance of the evidence that he lacks the financial ability to retain counsel on his own," a court document reads.

Fact, Chumlee did come to Rocky Boy looking to steal, our embezzlers and thieves came to him and his business to offer him money, stolen monies. and with the weak mind chumlee has he went for it. I thought tribal business was suppose to be done with banks. Wonder how long has this been going on, these crooks need jail time. This courts and criminals should stop this cat and mouse game its like the people in Rocky Boy don't have any hope for justice.
