Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report of vandalism after a caller from 3rd Avenue address reported Monday at 8:54 a.m. that the rear window of a truck topper had been shot out “with what looks like a BB gun.”

Officers investigated a parking violation report after a caller from a Grant Avenue address called Monday at 11:54 a.m. to report that a trailer had been parked in the neighbor’s driveway for a long time.

Officers investigated a theft report after a caller from a Bonine Drive address reported Monday at 1:07 p.m. that a purse had been stolen.

Officers made two arrests Monday at 3 p.m. at the police station. Crystal Dawn Horn, 43, of Havre was arrested on charges of criminal contempt, carrying a concealed weapon and having an open container; Brittany Leigh Henderson, 21, of Havre was arrested on charges of driving without a driver’s license and having an open container and on two Justice or City court warrants and a State District court warrant.

Officers investigated a theft reported from an 11th Street West address Monday at 6:03 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff Office

Joshua Daniel Kaupang, 33, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 10:07 a.m. at the Hill County Courthouse.

Havre Fire Department

Fire crews responded to a call Monday at 2:38 p.m. on the 1400 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West. The establishment began using an appliance that had not been used in a long time and it created a distinct smell. The smell turned out to be remnants of food burning from long ago, when it was last used. No further action was necessary.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.
