The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation announced that Teddi Seiler is the winner of the foundation's Blue Pony Bingo fundraiser held to help defray costs of the Havre High School marching band's July trip to the nation's capital.

Seiler will receive a half beef as her prize for holding the winning ticket.

The band is traveling to Washington to participate in the July 4 National Independence Day Parade representing Havre and Montana.

A press release from the Education Foundation said, "Needless to say, all of Havre is very proud of the band. They have worked hard to become the excellent musicians they are and be chosen for this honor. The band and HPS Education Foundation would like to thank everyone who supported the Blue Pony Bingo."

The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed to encourage and support excellence in education by raising, accumulating and disbursing funds to improve, enhance and support the educational opportunities for Havre Public Schools students, the release said.
