Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a juvenile status offense after a Washington Avenue caller reported Monday at 8:07 a.m. that her daughter had run away.

Tyler Joseph Harrison of Havre, 21, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants Monday at 9:52 a.m. at the Hill County Courthouse.

Starlaen Michelle Perkins of Havre, 50, was issued a summons for the charges of failure to stop and identify self after striking unattended vehicle and failure to give notice after someone reported a hit and run Monday at 12:26 p.m. near Fourth Street.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash at First Street and Fifth Avenue after a caller reported the incident Monday at 2:05 p.m.

Officers investigated a theft report after someone reported Monday at 4:09 p.m. that her purse was stolen.

Eugene James Walls of Havre, 42, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a caller from a First Street West business reported Monday at 10:11 p.m. that a man stole her phone and walked out.

Carl John Morsette of Havre, 44, was arrested Monday at 10:30 p.m. near Sixth Avenue on three Justice or City court warrants.

Officers investigated a theft report after a caller from a First Street establishment reported Monday at 11:50 p.m. that people left without paying their bar tab.

Joseph William Henderson of Havre, 25, was arrested today at 1:29 a.m. near Fourth Avenue on a Justice or City court warrant

The Sheriff’s Office dispatch log reported no investigations or arrests.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Monday.

Fire crews responded to a call Monday at 8:15 a.m. on the 200 Block of County Road 410 West, where a gas smell was reported. After inspection by the fire department and NorthWestern Energy, no leaks were detected and no further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded at 6:35 p.m. to a call at a First Street business where a gas smell was reported in the kitchen. After inspection by the fire department and NorthWestern Energy, no leaks were detected and no further action was necessary.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Monday a brown female weimaraner-pit bull mix, a black and brown shepherd mix, a black and tan shepherd mix, a brown pit bull mix, a white and black husky mix, a yellow Labrador and shepherd mix, a black and white Australian shepherd and a white and brown mixed-breed female dog.

The animal shelter held Thursday a tiger-striped gray cat with five kittens, a black, brown and white cat with a kitten, seven three-month-old feral kittens, three black and white feral cats, an orange kitten and a tiger-striped kitten.
