Officers investigated  a non-injury motor vehicle crash near First Street after a caller reported Tuesday at 1:16 p.m. that a van backed into a pickup truck.

Officers made three arrests  after a First Street business caller reported three shoplifters taking off in a silver Ford Explorer. Charles Earl Rainingbird of Box Elder, 49, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and obstructing a peace officer and on a Justice or City court warrant; Rogerina Emma Sutherland of Billings, 35, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and on two Justice or City court warrants; and Lois Lynn Rainingbird of Billings, 51, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant.

Ariel Christine Jones of Havre, 23, was arrested on charges of driving without a driver’s license and on a Justice or City court warrant after an Eighth Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 4:22 p.m. that a woman had moved a vehicle when she wasn’t supposed to.

Officers investigated a theft report after an 11th Street caller reported Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. that packages had been delivered to another residence and “they said they didn’t get them.”

Roger John Brough of Havre, 56, was arrested Tuesday at 9:34 a.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Tuesday and one today

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a black and white feral cat, a black cat, a calico female cat, a gray and white male kitten, a tiger-striped male kitten, two gray and white cats, a long-haired, tiger-striped cat and a white and tan feral cat.
