For the fifth time this season, Montana State University-Northern senior Natalee Faupel has been named the Frontier Conference Women's Player of the Week.
Faupel is a 5-10 senior guard from Butte. MSU-Northern won a pair of road games over the weekend. The Skylights downed (RV) Carroll College 54-45 and beat the University of Great Falls 81-63.
Faupel averaged 20.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and three assists per game. She was 14 of 29 from the field and 12 of 14 from the free throw line.
Faupel and the Skylights close out the regular season with home games against UM-Western Friday and Rocky Mountain College Saturday.
Western point guard Dom Robinson was named the Frontier Men's Player of the Week. Robinson averaged 20 points and 4.5 assists. He was 13 of 22 (59 percent) from the field including 6 of 12, 3-point field goals; and a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throw line. MSU-N's Tyler Chandler was also nominated for the award.
