North Central Senior Citizens Center, May 8-12 – 2017

Monday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; exercise class at 11 a.m.

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transporta-tion from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; TOPS at 8 a.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; mall or Walmart shopping from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; cards at 1 p.m.; exercise class at 11 a.m.

Friday — Medical transportation will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Pinochle — First place, Harold Anderson; second place, Jack Norman; third place, Giles Majerus; pinochle, Bev Haugen and Dick Zinn; Jack Norman, 1,000 Aces

Tuesday — Salad, baked ham, au gratin potatoes, corn, rolls, cake

Wednesday — Polish sausage, crunchy onion potato bake, sauerkraut, fruit

Thursday — Swedish meat balls, rice, beets, cookies

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert, milk

America the Beautiful

National parks and federal recreation lands annual passes are available. They are:

• Valid for one full year from month of purchase — through last day of that month.

• Allows pass owner and accompanying passengers in a single, private, noncommercial vehicle to enter federally operated recreation sites across the country.

• Covers the pass owner and three accompanying adults age 16 and older at sites where per person entrance fees are charged. No entry fee charged for children 15 and younger.

• Photo identification will be required to verify ownership.

• Passes are nonrefundable, nontransferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

If you are thinking of getting a pass for this summer go up to BLM, 3990 U.S. Highway 2 W., and get your pass before the price increases.
