Sheriff's office looking for suspected stabber

Law enforcement is looking for a woman who is suspected of stabbing a man multiple times April 28.

The sheriff’s office is conducting an investigation and looking for Nathel Fawn LaMere of Box Elder, wanted on suspected charges of assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault.

The sheriff’s office dispatch log says a caller reported April 28, 21 minutes after midnight, that a male was stabbed by a woman in the arm and under the eye.

“He is conscious and breathing, walking around,” the report says.

The incident report says a bloody knife was seized from the scene.

Sheriff Jamie Ross said Friday that LaMere fled before being apprehended and is still on the loose.

The man was taken to the hospital. Ross did not know if or when the alleged victim was released, but the charges reflect that, the man is alive.
