Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a possible temporary restraining order violation called in Wednesday at 8:24 a.m. from a First Street business.

Animal Control officer picked up a stray bicycle found on Third Street at 8:31 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers investigated a 1:48 p.m. Wednesday call from a woman at a First Street business who said a man “tried to grab her and pull her into a van.”

A caller from an 11th Street W. business reported a gas drive-off Wednesday at 3:05 p.m.

——

Someone stopped at the police department Wednesday at 3:27 p.m. asking to speak with an officer.

Officers investigated a 4:15 p.m. Wednesday call about a two-vehicle accident on 11th Street West.

Officers were called to a Fifth Street alley Wednesday at 6:21 p.m.l to investigate a vehicle that looked as if it had been wrecked and left running.

Trevor Lee Standingrock of Havre, 37, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant on First Street Wednesday at 10 p.m.

Jacob James Bauer of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and possession of dangerous drugs after a caller on 15th Avenue said a man was breaking down a door at 12:54 a.m. today.

Laikota Sioux Cantrell of Havre, 18, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault, after a Jefferson Avenue caller reported at 1:02 a.m. today their son was assaulted by his girlfriend.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 6:49 p.m. report from Fifth Street North of credit card and cellphone theft.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls yesterday and one this morning. Fire crews responded to two fire calls Wednesday, one on the 500 Block of 13th Street West at 1:48 p.m. and the other on the 800 Block of 17th Street at 5:09 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held four short-haired cats, eight medium-haired and one long-haired, along with a female German shepherd and a female Labrador retriever.
