Officers investigated after a caller near First Street and Ninth Avenue reported Tuesday at 9:52 a.m. that they found a Guess purse.

Officers investigated after a First Street West business caller reported Tuesday at 12:50 p.m. a crash between a car and a pickup truck.

Jasmin Rose LaForge of Havre, 22, was issued a summons on an endangering the welfare of children charge after a First Street Northeast caller reported Tuesday at 3:28 p.m. the presence of a strong marijuana smell.

Officers investigated after a Second Street Northwest caller reported Tuesday at 7 p.m. that she’d like her husband and mother-in-law to stop calling.

Kim Allen Norquay Sr. of Hays, 58, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and revocation of suspended or deferred sentence after a caller near a Second Street business reported Tuesday at 8:11 p.m. that a man was panhandling in front of the store.

Officers investigated after a Ninth Avenue Northwest caller reported Tuesday at 8:23 p.m. a case of vandalism.

Officers investigated after an 11th Street West caller reported Tuesday at 9:50 p.m that someone stole a bike.

Robert Gerald Bear III of Dodson, 25, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a First Street caller reported today at 1:15 a.m. that his son, who has a warrant, was in town.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The sheriff’s office did not report any investigations or arrest Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Tuesday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 2:41 p.m. on the 10 Block of Third Street West where an elderly woman was trapped for about two hours in a seized elevator. The elevator was stuck between the second and third floors and firefighters were able to pry the doors open and rescue the woman through the partial opening. The elevator is being repaired and the woman was alright.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female German shepherd, a female border collie-Labrador retriever mix, a male American bulldog, two male Australian shepherds, a male Chihuahua and a female mixed breed.

The animal shelter held this morning two short-haired, five medium-haired and one long-haired cat.
