Lawmaker sets rally to protest budget cuts

A local lawmaker and chair of the Hill County Democrats is holding a rally Thursday to talk about how looming budget cuts will impact Montanans.

“With budget projections coming in far lower than GOP projections, and after a devastating and expensive fire season, the people of Montana will have to suffer with the budget cuts,” Rep. Jacob Bachmeier, D-Havre, said in a release announcing the rally. “The sad thing is that most do not yet realize how severe these cuts will be.”
